Tell us about your business

  • We’re property managers of a portfolio based mainly in Greater London
  • It’s a new business. We started with 3 units a few years ago and now we’re up to 34
  • We own a mix of residential and commercial
  • The plan is to keep expanding and to continue using Arthur Online to manage our properties

 

What are your biggest operational challenges?

  • Keeping on top of money going in and out of the bank
  • Keeping track of tenants’ balances and how much is owed to each landlord
  • Being able to identify what is owed to who, whether that’s the tenant, owner or us

 

How has Arthur Online helped you overcome these challenges?

  • I no longer need to do manual calculations as Arthur Online’s automated process does all that for me
  • Arthur Online starts an automated process upon receipt of rent from the tenant which credits the owner whilst deducting our management fees
  • This also automatically calculates the amount the owner is due on a monthly basis whilst keeping a record of the amounts due to our company at the end of the month, which we can then transfer to our business account
  • Arthur Online reduces the risk of spending or paying out money to the wrong recipient

 

What add-on features do you find most useful?

  • The QuickBooks integration is very useful as it gives us a live bank feed
  • I have also used the bespoke statement service, which is really great
