How to add a multi unit property

When adding a property in Arthur, you are creating the asset which contains your rent-able unit.

If you have one rentable unit set this up as a single unit property e.g. A house to rent

Step 1

Create the property on the screen. Under property type choose what best suits your situation. Here are some examples

  • Flat = Where your rent-able unit units are rooms
  • Residential = Where your rent-able units are flats
  • etc

Step 2

If you do not manage the property un-tick the box shown. Also define the number of units you want to list on Arthur

Step 3

On the next page you can add details to the units being rented

  • Name of units e.g Flat, Room, shop etc
  • Choose unit type
  • etc

Tip: Use the top to make quick changes down the whole column. When renaming change the “unit” to e.g. Flat, Room. keep the brackets e.g {01} or {a} and ff {01} is used, the units will be shown in numerical order e.g 1,2,3,4,5 and if {a} is used, units will be shown in alphabetical order e.g a,b,c,d,e. this will be subject to the number of units you have.  Once you are happy with the changes click on “apply all” and it will update your columns.
