How to Deal with an Incoming Contractor Quote

When the contractor issues a quote using Arthur’s internal quoting functionality the property manager will be alerted to it from:

  • The Dashboard
  • An incoming message or notification

Step 1

In your Dashboard, select Quote Req. Approval

Step 2

Next, Open/View the workorder:

Step 3

Next go to Workorder Quotes in the left hand menu and Approve Or Reject the quote. Also, you can seek property owner approval by selecting Get Property Owner Approval.

If owner approval is required see how an owner can accept a quote.

Once Property Owner has Approved:

Incoming message or notification

This is controlled from the automated events area. This article is linked to understanding the automation and adding an action to your automation.

Go to Settings>Your Account>Automated Events>Workorders and there is an email generated when the contractor issues a quote.
