Notifying a tenant they are late for rent can be done manually or automatically
When tenant is late for their rent, Arthur has the ability to message the tenant. This is either by
Go to Settings>Automated Events>Rents
Go to Dashboard>Overdue Tenant Rent Statement>Late Rent>Click on the Drop Down>Send Overdue Rent Message
This is where Arthur will send out on your behalf. To carry out this go to Settings>Your Account>Automated Events
Once you have opened Automated Events, click on the plus sine next to Financials>Add Manual Event
What you are doing at this step is creating a “timed event“- A rent demand 5 days after it was due
Choose “created date” i.e the date the transaction is created and type in “-5 days” – This means that 5 days after the transaction was created
At this point now that the event has been created you are ready to add the “action” that delivers the communication
Add the action:
At this point decide how you want the message delivered
In the example below I have chosen “push notifications”
