How to use automation to remind the contractor or manager that a workorder remains pending after x no of days

If you want to send an automated reminder to a contractor that the job has still not been accepted manual events are a good way to set those up. 

A custom trigger is required based on time   Go to preferences>automation

 Step 1 Chose area

  Step 2  

 Step 3 Set up the conditions In this case, its workorders pending and created date -7 days

 Step 4 Add the action to the trigger. This is linked to how to add action to tiggers
