Your time back: Arthur’s new calendar updates
With all the usual responsibilities of a property manager, a calendar can quickly go from a useful tool to a source of organised chaos. We’ve heard your feedback and we’re excited to introduce several new improvements to the Arthur calendar designed to help you cut through the noise and tailor your schedule to exactly what you need to see, when you need to see it.
New filters
Users can now take control of their busy schedules with these new filters, letting them instantly tailor their calendar to what matters most.
Filtering by event type
This filter can differentiate between tasks, viewings, reminders and works orders. For example, if you’re focusing solely on filling a vacant unit, you can filter to display only viewings. This will be particularly useful for property managers needing a laser focus on one aspect of their role at any given time, ensuring a works order doesn’t get lost in a sea of viewing reminders.
Filtering by assignee
Stop wading through your entire team’s workload just to find your next step. The Assignee filter allows you to quickly narrow the calendar to:
- Your own tasks, which is a great way to plan your day.
- Specific team members, which is ideal for managers checking in on staff productivity or covering someone’s workload.
- Unassigned items, so no task or works order slips through the cracks.
Create viewing from calendar page
We’ve streamlined one of the most frequent actions property managers take, eliminating unnecessary back and forth. Previously, to schedule a viewing, you had to navigate away from the calendar and access the specific property page.
Now, you can create a viewing directly from the calendar. This will make scheduling much faster and more intuitive.
Create tasks from calendar page
Just like viewings, you no longer have to jump between pages to set a reminder or create an item. If you’re reviewing tomorrow’s schedule and realise you need to call a contractor, you can now create a new task directly on that date and time on the calendar page.
It’s the fastest way to get your thoughts out of your head and onto your to-do list, ensuring better organisation.
Final thoughts
These calendar improvements are designed to give you more control and efficiency every single day. Say goodbye to sifting through unnecessary noise and hello to a calendar that works as hard as you do, letting you focus on what really matters.
